Certified payroll without the month-end scramble.
WorksPro keeps the wage determination with each job, the classification on every timecard, and the apprentice ratio on a gauge. When it is time to report, you export certified payroll from the same timecards the foreman already sent. You file it. WorksPro does not file for you.
Compliance tracking on every plan. Certified payroll export is on Contractor and Enterprise.

Sample data
What it does
- 01
Wage determinations per job
Store the determination for each project, for example the Electrician classification for Los Angeles County, with its rates and scheduled increases.
- 02
Classification on every timecard
Each hour carries the worker's classification and apprentice level, straight from the daily report.
- 03
Apprentice ratio gauge
Apprentice straight-time hours against journeyman straight-time hours, per craft, over the whole project. The California minimum is 1 apprentice hour per 5 journeyman hours. You see where you stand before it is a problem.
- 04
Certified payroll export
Pick a job and a week, preview, then download a WH-347 style PDF and a CSV you can use to prepare your DIR eCPR submission. Only office and owner roles see the last four of an SSN.
- 05
Reminders that come from the rules
DAS-140 after award, DAS-142 before you need an apprentice, CAC-2 training fund by the 15th, DIR registration renewal by June 30, toolbox talks every 10 working days, and insurance, bond and certification expiry.
- 06
Sub listing and DIR numbers
Subcontractors keep their license number, DIR registration and insurance expiry. The bid checklist flags any sub that must be listed under PCC 4104.
In practice
Week ending Friday.
An example with sample numbers.
- 1
The foreman's daily reports already carry each worker's classification and hours.
- 2
The apprentice gauge on the fiber job reads 1:7 this week. A warning suggests requesting a dispatch before Monday.
- 3
On payroll day you pick the job and the week, check the preview and export the WH-347 PDF and the CSV.
- 4
You file through DIR's eCPR system and any portal the agency requires. The CAC-2 reminder is already on the calendar for the 15th.
